The Captain Billek Foundation is dedicated to supporting melanoma education, awareness and research. Captain Joe Billek dedicated almost 30 years of his life to save others with Tampa Fire Rescue and lost his battle to melanoma in March 2012. In his memory, we are dedicated to fight and end melanoma. Since our inception in 2012, we have raised over $340,000 towards our mission!
The Captain Billek Foundation’s 8th Annual Drive Fore Melanoma Golf Tournament will be held on Monday, May 6, 2024 at Carrollwood Country Club in Tampa. We will be featuring local businesses, giving away raffle prizes, holding a silent auction, and will have food and beverages on the course!
